Theme: Rune Slate · D&D's paired stones, each casting sending to the other. The real version is two communicators on one screen:
hold a stone, speak or type, and its pair lights up. The fiction's discipline is kept on purpose — see the gold panel.
The once-per-dawn discipline (the fiction's constraint, kept visible):
in D&D each stone works once per dawn. That limit is
by default in this demo — after a stone casts, it goes dark until dawn
(here: until you use the override). Real phones, of course, have no such limit; the limit is the game's, worn openly.
