THE HONEST SHAPE, ON THE FACE:
One list on this device. Sharing it across phones is a wiring step (house server), written in the record — this page doesn't pretend otherwise.
No accounts, no sign-up, no sync claims, no network calls at all. The list and the shelf live only in this browser's localStorage, on this device.
The List — “Pantry” SAMPLE
One shared list for the shelf this page serves. Add by code in one tap, add by hand, tick things off when bought, restore them if they were ticked by mistake. Quantities count up — tapping the same thing twice means “we need two,” never two rows.
Still to get
Nothing outstanding. The shelf is stocked — or nobody has tapped a tile yet.
Ticked off
Nothing ticked off yet.
The Shelf Sheet — print it, cut it, tape it to the shelf
Name the things that live on this shelf. Each one gets a big printed tile with a short add-code. When something runs low, whoever notices types or picks that code on the list half — one tap, it is on the list. On screen you can also just tap a tile itself. Use the Print button and the sheet prints on its own (the list and the forms stay behind).
No shelf items yet. Add the first one above — milk, eggs, rice, whatever this shelf holds.
About QR codes, honestly: Codes today; QR tiles are the upgrade when the house adopts a QR library through its screening gate. A real QR code needs a proper code library, and this build does not smuggle one in — and it will not print a decorative square that merely looks like a QR code but does not scan. The printed code above does the same job today: read it, tap it in, done.
