# WHAT TO TRY — B6 The Okay Loop ("Okay Loop Fern")
Open `index.html` in any modern browser (double-click the file, or serve the folder). No install, no account — and nothing you do here is sent anywhere: the page has no network code at all, and it says so on its face. **All times in this test are simulated and labeled SIMULATED.**
1. **Read the top of the page first.** The safety lines and the red DEMONSTRATION box are part of the product: silence only, no health claims, not a medical device, call emergency services if you believe someone is in danger — do not wait for an app.
2. **Check the opt-ins and the window.** Both Person A and Person B start opted in, and the window starts at **7:00 AM – 9:00 AM**. The simulated clock starts at **6:30 AM (SIMULATED)**, before the window.
3. **Run a good day (Person A).** On the PERSON A tab, tap the huge **I'M OKAY** button. Switch to the PERSON B tab: it should show the okay and the simulated time of the tap. Back in History, there is an "Okay at … (SIMULATED)" entry.
4. **Reset and run a silent day.** Tap **Reset demo day**, do *not* tap I'M OKAY, then use the DEMO CLOCK: advance in steps, or tap **Jump to window close**. The moment simulated time reaches 9:00 AM with no tap, Person B's view flips to **ESCALATION** and shows the demonstration notice exactly: *"No okay from A by 9:00 AM today. This notice reports silence only."* — stamped DEMONSTRATION, nothing sent.
5. **Tap late.** Still on the silent day, tap **I'M OKAY** after the escalation. Person B's view should keep the escalation standing and log your tap as a **late okay** — arriving late does not rewrite what already fired.
6. **End the loop.** Reset the day, then tap **End the loop** from *either* person's view. Both views should print the ended state, and advancing the demo clock past the window close should fire **no** escalation. **Restart loop** brings a fresh day back (both opt-ins still required).
7. **Play with the window.** Change the window end (for example to 10:00 AM), save it, reset the day, and run the clock past the old close: nothing should fire at 9:00 AM now; the escalation, when it comes, names the new end time.
8. **Reload the page.** Your History entries are still there — that's localStorage, on this device only. **Clear local log** removes them.
The real test this prototype is staging for: one volunteer pair, 14 days, on the retail shape (real clock, real delivery) — a separate commission, gated on the cut list below.
