# WHAT TO TRY — Bonus Keyboard-Language Memory ("Globe Key Ivory")

Open `index.html` in any modern browser (double-click the file, or serve the folder). No install, no account — the file makes no network calls.

1. **Read the honest line at the top.** It says, in full: a web page can't switch your keyboard — no page can. This page is the memory; the globe key is still the switch. If that trade is not worth it to you, the rest of this test is moot — that is the product, stated before you invest a tap.
2. **Look at the 4 SAMPLE conversations already remembered.** All invented, all labeled **SAMPLE**: Cousin chat is **Español**, Plant buyers group is **English**, Study group chat is **English**, Neighbor chat is **Español**.
3. **Tap "Open card" on Cousin chat.** You get the card: **ESPAÑOL — for this chat**, in very large type, with the globe-key reminder underneath (tap / press-and-hold the globe / language key at the bottom left of the keyboard until Español shows). That is the whole moment this tool exists for: check the card, switch once, type right the first time.
4. **Go back to the list and notice the sort.** Cousin chat is now at the top — opening its card stamped it **most-recently-used**, and the list sorts that way (ties alphabetical). Open Plant buyers group and watch it take the top spot instead.
5. **Try the search.** Type `cousin` — exactly one row. Type `español` — the two Spanish chats. Type nonsense — an honest "no conversations match that search," not a dressed-up empty list.
6. **Add a real conversation of your own** — a generic label of your choosing and its language. Pick **Other** and type a language in if yours is not English / Español. Then try adding the **same name again**: it refuses, and tells you duplicates are refused — give the second chat its own label.
7. **Edit one** (change its language) and **remove one** — both from the row buttons. Then reload the page: your edits and removals are still exactly as you left them (localStorage, this device only).
8. **Clear the SAMPLEs in one tap** with the "Clear SAMPLE conversations" button. Reload — they do **not** come back, and your own entries remain.

The real test this prototype is staging for: a week of real chats — does checking the card before typing actually stop the wrong-language first line? That run is the owner's call.
