🎙️ VOICE CHANGER — Voice Box Violet

Theme: “Voice Box Violet” — local effects for your own recordings and content · Q-Branch Item A3-4
PROTOTYPE Local only · nothing leaves this browser

The fences — read these first

  1. Consent-only: this transforms your own voice, or a consenting adult's voice, and nothing else.
  2. It never imitates another real person — no cloning a voice you don't have the rights and consent to use.
  3. It never touches the child's surfaces or any child-facing surface — the house's no-synthetic-voice fence stands untouched.
  4. Anything published that uses transformed voice carries a synthetic-voice disclosure.

Honesty law — what this page actually is

This page changes the pitch and character of your own voice, in your browser, and sends nothing anywhere. It is effects, not identity conversion — full neural voice conversion is the house-hardware lane; see the packet.

Every effect below is labeled as what it honestly is: a playback-rate pitch shift, an EQ chain, or ring modulation. None of it converts your voice into anyone else's voice, and none of it is a neural model.

1 · Record a short clip of your own voice

Press RECORD, speak for a few seconds, then press STOP. Your browser will ask for microphone permission — the recording stays in this page's memory until you download it or close the tab.

Status: ready. No clip recorded yet.

2 · Apply transformations — locally

Character presets — each one is a named combination of the pitch shift and EQ above, plus (for Robot) ring modulation. Nothing more is hiding in them:

Radio
Band-limited EQ: a high-pass and low-pass pair keep only the telephone-like middle band, with a presence boost and mild saturation. Honestly: a band-pass style EQ chain.
Deep
Playback-rate pitch shift down, plus a low-shelf EQ boost and a high-shelf cut. Honestly: slower, lower, darker — pitch and EQ, not a different person.
Bright
Playback-rate pitch shift up (slight), plus a high-shelf EQ boost. Honestly: faster, higher, lighter — pitch and EQ.
Robot
Ring modulation: your voice multiplied by a steady oscillator tone (about 45 Hz), which adds metallic side-tones. Honestly: ring modulation, a classic electronic effect — not a robot voice model.
Rendering happens offline in this tab and produces a WAV file in memory.

If you publish anything made with the transformed clip, fence 4 applies: Anything published that uses transformed voice carries a synthetic-voice disclosure.

What this page is not

This is an effects slice, not neural voice conversion. The 3080-class house-hardware lane — open-source, local, real-time voice-conversion tooling trained only on the owner's own voice (or a consenting adult's) — is described in PACKET-A3-4.md in this folder. That packet installs nothing; it is the honest plan, with its code-screening gate, for a separate sitting.
